Still Standing

Original score for the short documentary STILL STANDING by Victor Suarez and Livia Albeck-Ripka, premiering at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and additionally screening at Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, Slamdance, Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, SLO Film Fest, Aspen Film Shortsfest.

Shot on 16mm film, the piece documents the transformation of intimate space into an alien and hazardous landscape - in the wake of the Eaton fire in January 2025, residents of Altadena, CA whose homes were left standing but contaminated to some unknowable degree navigate the toxic fallout of the disaster and how to move forward with their lives.
