Still Standing

Original score for the Sundance Film Festival nominated short documentary STILL STANDING by Victor Suarez and Livia Albeck-Ripka.

Shot on 16mm film, the piece documents the transformation of intimate space into an alien and hazardous landscape - in the wake of the Eaton fire in January 2025, residents of Altadena, CA whose homes were left standing but contaminated to some unknowable degree navigate the toxic fallout of the disaster and how to move forward with their lives.
